Vanakam to everyone who is reading my blog.Myself Nandini Srinivasan from COIMBATORE(Kongunaadu).Coimbatore is the second largest city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a major commercial centre and an industrial hub of Tamil Nadu and is known as the “Manchester of South India”.Coimbatore is also famous for foundry and automobile industries, manufacturing of textile industry equipment’s, spares, motor pump sets, wet grinders and varied engineering goods and services. The development of Hydro electricity from the Pykara Falls in the 1930 led to a cotton boom in Coimbatore.
All about me.From childhood till now all i have known about is coimbatore .As kovai developed i grew up side by side with culture,food,language and many more.Coimbatore never made me feel sad or lost anywhere.About myself i did my schooling in St Joseph Matriculation Higher Secondary School. It was an all girls school the maximum fun i had there. Here is where we embraced cultural and religious differences.Majority of myself was built in school.It’s basically my foundation.From there straight to college (Under Graguate) Sri Krishna Arts And Science College.Where my life lessons where taught.In my schoolings all i knew was to study and hard work,where in college it was an extended version of that.I studied harder and got placed.from there again a greatest U-Turn was Dr. GRD College of Arts and Science – the best decision i have ever made in my life.This college taught me the reality and logics of life.”marks does not define who you are-it’s your talent”.I found myself there.i am proud of myself now.

My dear bloggers as i told you earlier kongunaadu never bores you. It’s not only a place about culture and literature, it’s also about people. “Ask and you shall receive”, that is soo reciprocated here. You can ask anyone for help and they will definitely do it for you. The hospitality of coimbatore is OUTSTANDING.
Events , concerts , what not…. Always a fun filled place. The way we speak our language with respect is what made me proud of myself and also taught me to respect my roots.
